SECTOR MEETING ORGANIZED BY MOODY’S RATINGS

 

Ms. B. Azzaya, Senior Auditor of UBIM, Mr. M. Munkhjargal, Head of fund management Department, Mr. B. Bat-Erdene, Director of Investment and Project Management Department, and Ms. Ch. Anujin, Business Analyst, attended the meeting organized by Moody’s Ratings.

The meeting was held on 2 June 2026 and focused on Mongolia’s economic outlook, policy responses, banking sector conditions, changes in the credit environment, as well as funding and liquidity risks.

During the meeting, analysts from Moody’s Ratings presented their views on key issues affecting Mongolia’s economy, including external uncertainties, commodity market volatility, fiscal and debt management reforms, asset quality in the banking sector, and potential risks to profitability.

Representatives from Golomt Bank, XacBank, and Moody’s Ratings also held a panel discussion on the credit policies of Mongolian commercial banks, the quality of household loan portfolios, corporate lending strategies, and the impact of digital transformation.

The event served as an important platform for expanding business relations among representatives of the finance, banking, and investment sectors and for strengthening opportunities for future cooperation.
