4,600 HOUSEHOLDS TO BE NEWLY CONNECTED TO ELECTRIC POWER ACROSS THE CAPITAL

🇲🇳 This year, 4,600 households across the capital will be newly connected to electric power, while the voltage supply for 70,000 households is planned to be improved. In this context, the necessary budget has been secured and work has already commenced at 29 locations in order to meet the growing electricity demand of households in ger districts, summer settlement areas, and newly populated zones, as well as to increase capacity and improve voltage stability.

➡️ This work is significant not only for expanding the accessibility and reliability of Ulaanbaatar’s power supply, but also for improving living conditions for households in ger districts and supporting the balanced development of electricity infrastructure.

🇲🇳✅ In addition,UBIM has officially launched a project in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) with the objective of gradually transitioning ger district households to more accessible and sustainable energy solutions.

➡️ Within the framework of this project, our company is responsible for:
✔️ overseeing investment management and implementation coordination;
✔️ aligning international institutional support and financing with tangible infrastructure development;
✔️ carrying out pilot model projects for renewable energy solutions at the city level.

➡️ The expansion of electricity supply infrastructure across the capital, together with the introduction of sustainable energy solutions through collaborative initiatives, is expected to progressively strengthen Ulaanbaatar’s energy accessibility, service quality, and long term sustainability.
