TRAINING ON FINANCING, INVESTMENT MECHANISMS, AND STRATEGY WAS HELD

 

🇲🇳 A training session entitled “Financing, Investment Mechanisms, and Strategy” was organized by the Ulaanbaatar Policy Research and Analysis Center for staff and officials of the Kharakhorum City Governor’s Office.

➡️ The training was aimed at strengthening participants’ understanding of international financing and investment opportunities, market mechanisms, and strategic planning.

🇲🇳✅ Representing UBIM M. Munkhjargal, Director of the Fund Management and Resource Department, and Kh. Ankhsuren, Director of the Investment and Project Management Department, participated in the training and delivered presentations.

➡️ The presentations covered:
✔️ the role of an investment corporation and fund management;
✔️ resource mobilization opportunities and financing structures;
✔️ investment management of development projects;
✔️ coordination among government, the market, and investors.

➡️ A notable aspect of UBIM’s participation was the sharing of its experience and expertise in evaluating development projects from an investor’s perspective, designing optimal financing structures, viewing projects beyond sole reliance on the state budget through multi source financing models, structuring investments, and attracting new sources of capital through public private partnership mechanisms.

➡️ Strengthening understanding of investment concepts is of critical importance in creating the enabling environment needed to attract domestic and foreign investment into future urban development, infrastructure, and regional development projects.
