THE NEXT STAGE MEETING ON THE RENEWABLE ENERGY PROJECT WAS HELD

 

UBIM is implementing a project in cooperation with the United Nations Development Programme /UNDP/ to gradually transition ger district households to renewable energy solutions and improve the city’s energy resilience.

Following the official launch of the project’s feasibility study, representatives of the working group held a follow up meeting to exchange views on project progress, next implementation steps, and the initial pilot locations.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of selecting and installing renewable energy pilot solutions at three initial locations around the Zuun Salaa and Baruun Salaa areas in ger districts.

The meeting also covered potential financing options through an investment fund, long term financial structuring, source planning, and coordination required to translate the renewable energy transition into practical implementation.

This project is significant not only for shifting ger district households toward more stable, accessible, and environmentally friendly energy solutions, but also for reducing pressure on the city’s centralized energy system and developing a viable investment model for green development.

UBIM is working to align development projects based on international partnerships with practical investment structures and financing solutions.
