THE EIGHTH REGULAR SESSION OF THE ULAANBAATAR CITY COUNCIL WAS HELD

🇲🇳 The Eighth Regular Session of the Ulaanbaatar City Council convened to deliberate on 10 key agenda items concerning the City’s development policy, investment, public-private partnerships (PPPs), municipal asset management, and urban development.

Key agenda items included:

✅ Amendments to the list of projects to be implemented under public private partnership arrangements;
✅ Approval of project implementation rights under the public private partnership framework;
✅ The proposal to establish the Selbe Smart City Special Economic Zone;
✅ Measures to reduce air pollution during the 2026–2027 heating season; and
✅ Matters relating to the management, registration, and transfer of municipal assets.

🏙️ These policy decisions are closely linked to Ulaanbaatar’s long term urban development strategy, investment climate, infrastructure development, and the expansion of collaboration between the public and private sectors.
