“2026 ULAANBAATAR STARTUP TOWN” TRAINING PROGRAM FOR STARTUP SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS KICKS OFF IN THE REPUBLIC OF KOREA

 

The “2026 Ulaanbaatar Startup Town – Training Program for Startup Support Professionals” is being held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from August 10–14, 2026.

On the first day of the program, participants visited SVC Seoul, Korea Startup Forum, and Seoul Social Venture Hub, where they explored Korea’s startup and venture support ecosystem, investment environment, and practical approaches to fostering startup growth.

SVC Seoul is a startup support hub that provides comprehensive services focused on startup incubation, investor connections, open innovation, and access to international markets.

Korea Startup Forum is one of the Republic of Korea’s leading startup associations, working to support sustainable startup growth, strengthen business collaboration and investment, improve the policy and regulatory environment, and develop a nationwide startup network.

Seoul Social Venture Hub supports social venture companies that address social challenges through innovative business solutions. Its activities include incubation, connecting ventures with impact investors, strengthening investment readiness, and expanding public private collaboration.

UBIM places strong emphasis on strengthening the professional capacity of its human resources and learning from international best practices. As part of this effort, T. Sainbat, Fund Manager at UBIM, is participating in the program to study Korean best practices and undertake professional training in startup financing, venture capital, impact investment, and startup ecosystem development.
