DEVELOPING AN INVESTMENT MOBILIZATION STRATEGY FOR MEGA PROJECTS AND ESTABLISHING A WORKING GROUP

 

UBIM has established a dedicated working group and convened a meeting to develop a long term investment strategy and secure sustainable financing sources for mega projects to be implemented in Ulaanbaatar city and nationwide.

During the meeting, the following key issues were discussed and concrete solutions identified:

-Financing structures of ongoing and planned mega projects at the city and national levels

-Potential funding sources including PPPs, concessions, bonds, funds, international financing, and private investment

-Optimal financing models tailored to each individual project

-Phased strategies for mobilizing investment

-Risk management and allocation mechanisms for funding sources

-Organization of investor relations management and operational workflows

The working group will focus on:

-Developing an integrated financing roadmap for mega projects

-Defining project-specific financing structures and implementation phases

-Establishing a unified strategy for cooperation with domestic and international investors

-Building a transparent, sustainable, and efficient investment management system

Through this strategic initiative, UBIM is systematically fulfilling its investment management role by linking municipal and national development projects with capital markets and transforming investment into tangible construction and infrastructure outcomes.
