DISCUSSIONS HELD WITH THE ITALIAN EXIM BANK ON COOPERATION FOR ULAANBAATAR’S MEGA PROJECTS

 

🇲🇳🇮🇹 Officials led by L. Khosbayar, Coordinator of Programs and Projects for Accelerating Ulaanbaatar’s Financial, Economic, and Development Construction, received representatives of the Italian EXIM Bank, including Mr. Luca Bertacchi, Chief Architect for Urban Design, Urban Planning, and Landscape, and other delegates.

🇲🇳 During the meeting, Mrs. G. Gangamurun, Chief Executive Officer of UBIM, participated and presented UBIM’s role in investment management, including connecting Ulaanbaatar’s strategic projects with international financing, structuring public private partnership  financial models, and organizing investor participation in major projects.

🇲🇳🇮🇹 As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed to cooperate on the phased implementation of mega projects such as “Khunnu City,” “Ulaanbaatar Tram,” and the Sludge Drying and Waste-to-Energy Plant” through international financing mechanisms.
