CONSTRUCTION OF THE YAARMAG–UNUR KHOROOLOL CABLE CAR LINE HAS REACHED 80% COMPLETION

 

The construction of the Yaarmag–Unur Khoroolol cable car line, being implemented to improve access to public transportation and reduce traffic congestion in Ulaanbaatar, is currently progressing with 80% completion.

Within the scope of the project, the cable car line, support structures, station buildings, and related engineering works are being implemented in phases.

Once commissioned, the cable car line is expected to reduce traffic pressure in the Yaarmag, Nisekh, and Unur Khoroolol areas, while improving citizens’ access to public transportation.

Trial operations are planned to begin in September.

UBIM continues to align Ulaanbaatar’s infrastructure and public transportation projects with non budgetary financing sources and investment policy.
