MONEY SUPPLY REACHED MNT 53.4 TRILLION

 

🇲🇳 According to the National Statistics Office of Mongolia’s preliminary data, the country’s broad money supply reached MNT 53.4 trillion at the end of June 2026, representing an increase of MNT 11.2 trillion, or 26.6%, compared to the same period last year.

✅ The growth was primarily driven by increases in:

* MNT savings deposits: up by MNT 5.9 trillion (26.3%)

* MNT demand deposits: up by MNT 2.8 trillion (29.3%)

* Foreign currency demand deposits: up by MNT 2.7 trillion (75.4%)

📊 As of June 2026:

* Total outstanding bank loans: MNT 49.3 trillion

* Non performing loans (NPLs): MNT 2.5 trillion

* Loans under special mention: MNT 1.2 trillion

💱 Average exchange rates (June 2026):

* USD 1 = MNT 3,576.65

* EUR 1 = MNT 4,117.99

* CNY 1 = MNT 527.86

* RUB 1 = MNT 48.40
