🇲🇳 B. Purevdagva, Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, together with relevant officials, reviewed the construction progress of Section IV of the Tuul-1 Trunk Sewer Collector, one of Ulaanbaatar’s strategically significant urban infrastructure projects.
✅ Extending 30.4 kilometers from Gachuurt to the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant, the Tuul-1 Collector is designed to substantially increase the capacity of Ulaanbaatar’s primary wastewater conveyance system. The project will transport wastewater from Gachuurt, Khujirbulan, Uliastai, Nalaikh, Amgalan, Sharkhad, Dambadarjaa, Doloon Buudal, Bayankhoshuu, Tolgoit, and surrounding areas to the city’s central treatment facility, providing essential infrastructure for future urban development.
📊 Upon completion of the 10.4-kilometer pipeline comprising Sections III and IV, the capacity of the city’s main sewer network will increase by 80%, enabling an additional 300,000 households to be connected to Ulaanbaatar’s centralized wastewater collection and treatment system.
🇲🇳 UBIM is committed to mobilizing sustainable investment and financing for the Capital City’s priority infrastructure projects. Strategic engineering infrastructure such as the Tuul-1 Trunk Sewer Collector provides the essential foundation for sustainable urban development, supports future residential expansion, and enhances the city’s long term infrastructure resilience.
