🌍 Key indicators across domestic and international financial markets have been updated as of September 18, 2026.

📈 Macroeconomic Overview

The Bank of Mongolia’s Monetary Policy Committee met on September 16–17 and decided to maintain the policy rate at 12.5%.

In August 2026, annual inflation stood at 12.5% nationwide and 11.6% in Ulaanbaatar, while core inflation was 6.8%. Increased food supply contributed to lower inflation compared with the previous month. However, higher fuel and energy prices, wage growth, and increased fiscal spending continue to pose upside risks to inflation.
