UBIM ADVANCES COOPERATION WITH FITCH RATINGS
UBIM held a follow up meeting with representatives of Fitch Ratings to advance discussions on potential areas of cooperation.
Previous discussions focused on opportunities to mobilize financing from international capital markets for Ulaanbaatar’s major development projects and programs, the role of credit ratings in facilitating access to financing, effective project presentation to investors, and the diversification of non budgetary funding sources.
Building on these discussions, the latest meeting explored potential cooperation in credit ratings, ESG, sustainable finance, and capital markets, and considered possible next steps for continued engagement.
Representatives of Fitch Ratings’ Asia-Pacific team included:
* Kwong Li — Director, Business Management
* Mee Ryung Song — Head of Korea, Business and Relationship Management
* Aaron Wei — Director, ESG and Sustainable Finance
* Kathleen Chen — Associate Director, Sovereign Ratings
