Macroeconomic Overview
Annual inflation stands at 12.5% nationwide, 11.6% in Ulaanbaatar, while core inflation is 6.8%. Increased supplies of meat and vegetables contributed to a moderation in inflation from the previous month. However, upside risks to inflation remain, driven by fuel prices, global food prices, fiscal spending, and wage growth.

According to the official exchange rate announced by the Bank of Mongolia on September 24, USD 1 = MNT 3,595.61.

Mongolian Stock Exchange
On September 24, total trading turnover on the Mongolian Stock Exchange reached MNT 69.16 billion. In regular trading, 1,174,864 shares of 48 companies, with a total value of MNT 898.55 million, changed hands. Share prices increased for 21 companies, declined for 20, and remained unchanged for seven.

International Markets
