EXPLORING INVESTMENT AND GLOBAL MARKET OPPORTUNITIES FOR STARTUPS
Representatives of UBIM met with David Koh, Chairman of the Board of IMPACT FOUNDATION, and representatives of Bright Tamara, an international business advisory firm, to discuss opportunities to support the development of startups in Mongolia and strengthen their investment readiness.
IMPACT FOUNDATION supports the identification and development of promising startups through investment-readiness programs, acceleration, and business advisory services. Its IMPACT UPI program provides selected startups with a 16-week program of training, mentorship, and business development support, designed to strengthen their capabilities, facilitate connections with investors, and improve their prospects for raising capital.
The meeting focused on identifying high-potential startups in Mongolia, enhancing their investment readiness, and providing access to accelerator and mentorship programs.
The parties also discussed potential cooperation through the K-Scouter program, implemented by South Korea’s Ministry of SMEs and Startups (MSS) and the Korea Institute of Startup & Entrepreneurship Development (KISED). The program could provide a pathway for Mongolian technology startups to connect with South Korea’s startup ecosystem and investor network, while supporting their market entry and expansion into South Korea.
