OPEN TENDER ANNOUNCED FOR THE CONTRACTOR OF THE SECOND LINE OF THE “ULAANBAATAR TRAM” PROJECT

An open tender has been officially announced to select the contractor for the construction of the second line of the “Ulaanbaatar Tram” project, which is being implemented to develop public transportation infrastructure. The process of receiving tender documents has now commenced.

Second Line of the Project:
Route: Sukhbaatar Square – Buyant-Ukhaa Complex
Total Length: 15 km
Stations: 23
Implementation Period: 2026–2028

This line will connect the Airport area with the city center, significantly improving the accessibility of public transportation and helping reduce urban traffic congestion.

Tender opening date:
April 15, 2026 – 11:40 AM
