The Executive Director of UBIM, Mrs.G.Gangamurun, together with the working group, conducted an on site visit to review the progress of the Emeelt Eco Industrial Park JSC development.
This visit followed previous official meetings and aimed to assess the project’s infrastructure development and explore feasible financing options based on actual site conditions.
During the visit, Mrs. B.Myagmar, Executive Director of Emeelt Eco Industrial Park JSC, presented an update on the project’s progress and infrastructure financing. Currently, core infrastructure works have commenced with funding from the Municipality, and design works for key components including a thermal power plant, wastewater treatment facility, and external road infrastructure have been incorporated into the 2025–2026 budget framework.
To fully implement the project’s infrastructure, an estimated MNT 500 billion investment is required. Of this, MNT 300 billion is expected to be financed by the Municipality, while the remaining approximately MNT 170 billion is planned for engineering networks, water supply systems, and flood protection infrastructure.
The Executive Director of UBIM, Mrs.G.Gangamurun, emphasized that the team is actively reviewing potential financing options, investment structures, payback mechanisms, and feasibility study (FS) considerations to secure the required funding for the infrastructure.
