EXPANDING COOPERATION WITH VEOLIA IN URBAN INFRASTRUCTURE
The Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar, Kh.Nyambaatar, met with representatives of France’s Veolia Group to discuss opportunities for expanding cooperation in urban infrastructure.
During the meeting, the parties explored potential collaboration in:
Modernizing the centralized heating system,
Establishing a wastewater sludge treatment plant,
Introducing advanced engineering infrastructure solutions.
In response to Ulaanbaatar’s growing demand, it was emphasized that increasing sludge treatment capacity has become essential, along with adopting environmentally friendly, internationally proven solutions.
Veolia Group, a global leader in water, energy, and waste management, presented its experience in implementing large scale projects, including facilities with a capacity of 2,000 tons of sludge per day.
The parties agreed to further expand cooperation and jointly implement technical studies and feasibility assessments (FS).
