“ULAANBAATAR MARATHON 2026” INTERNATIONAL RUN TO BE HELD ON MAY 23

 

The “Ulaanbaatar Marathon” International Run, now being organized for the 11th year, will take place on May 23, 2026, at D. Sukhbaatar Square.

Participants can register for the marathon through www.ulaanbaatar.marathon.mn until 5:00 PM on May 1.

This year’s marathon will be organized in the following main categories:

1.5 km – families and persons with disabilities

5 km – ages 12–17 and 18+

10 km – ages 18+

21 km half marathon – ages 18–34, 35–54, 55+, and persons with disabilities

42 km full marathon – ages 18+ and participants with special needs

Special Olympics events – 500 m and 800 m

Organizers have also announced that, since a VAT receipt will be generated automatically after the registration fee is paid, it will not be possible to change or edit the selected distance or category.

Representatives of UBIM, successfully participated in the 2025 Ulaanbaatar Marathon International Run, supporting a healthy lifestyle, collective participation, and an active organizational culture.

In addition to promoting public fitness and a healthy lifestyle, the Ulaanbaatar Marathon is also an important event that strengthens positive attitudes and joint participation among the city’s residents and organizations.
