UBIM – ESG IMPLEMENTING INSTITUTION TOWARD SUSTAINABLE AND GREEN WORKPLACES

The municipally owned “Ulaanbaatar Investment Management Securities Company” LLC (UBIM) is one of the few financial institutions actively implementing Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. The company is committed to creating a sustainable green office environment that is environmentally friendly, energy-efficient, and supportive of employees’ health and productivity.

Implementing ESG within the organization plays a vital role in reducing the carbon footprint, improving workplace quality, enhancing corporate social responsibility, and positively impacting employee well-being and productivity.

Thanks to the initiative of our ESG Manager, O. Khishig-Undral, we have introduced waste sorting in our office.

Most workplace waste typically consists of paper, plastic bottles, disposable containers, and food scraps. By properly sorting this waste, it opens up numerous opportunities for recycling and energy recovery.
