UBIM TEAM PARTICIPATES IN “UB FOOD” FESTIVAL

The “UB Food” festival, aimed at introducing the culinary traditions of various countries, is being held at the central square from April 8 to 14.

Initiated and organized by the Capital City Governor’s Office, the festival marks the beginning of this year’s tourism season. During the second week of April, it presents both national and international cuisines to local residents and tourists.

This year’s festival highlights the flavors and culture of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Additionally, monks from the Gandan Tegchenling Monastery, the center of Mongolian Buddhism, are preparing traditional noodle soup in a one-ton cast-iron pot to showcase Mongolian culinary heritage.

Today, the UBIM team visited the “UB Food” festival and had the opportunity to taste the famous Uzbek plov prepared by master chefs from Uzbekistan.
